An AI agent is an AI system that doesn't just answer a single prompt — it plans and carries out multi-step work on your behalf, using tools, memory, and connected data to reach a goal. Instead of asking a chatbot one question at a time, your team defines what needs to happen and the agent executes the steps, checks its own work, and reports back.

The training takes your team from understanding how agents work to designing, building, and deploying a working agent for a real task in your business. It covers agent design, giving agents tools and access to your data, guardrails and oversight, and how to deploy and operate agents reliably in production.

A chatbot responds to one message at a time and waits for the next instruction. An agent works toward a goal across many steps — it can call tools, read and write data, make decisions, and complete a whole task such as triaging requests, preparing a report, or processing a queue of work, with human oversight where it matters.

Some familiarity with AI tools and APIs is helpful, and the most technical modules suit engineering or technically-minded team members. The training is structured so that less-technical participants understand agent design and oversight while technical participants learn to build and deploy agents hands-on.
